Leafy Greens

Mom was right when she said to โeat your greens!โ (Mom is always right!) Dark green leafy vegetables are the healthiest foods on the planet, packing the most nutrition per calorie. Unfortunately, greens get a bad rep for their taste. Take kale for example, somewhat bitter and grassy tasting right? Try buying baby kale, a more tender variety. Two servings of leafy greens are recommended…so two servings of 1 cup raw or 1/2 cup cooked greens and you’re good to go!ย
